The Woodshed asks for microphone access only when you tap RECORD. Audio is captured on your device, mixed with the drone on your device, and saved to your device. It is never uploaded, transmitted, or processed anywhere else. If you decline microphone access, every other part of the app continues to work.

Practice recordings are stored locally on your device. They are not backed up to any server we control, and we have no way to access them. Deleting a recording in the app deletes the file. Deleting the app deletes all of them.

The Full Kit unlock is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. We receive only Apple's confirmation that a purchase is valid.

The Woodshed contains no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. This site doesn't run analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies either.

If you sign up for updates on this site, we store your email address to send you those updates. Nothing else. It is never sold or shared.
